Mounting Options

With options perfect for indoor and outdoor uses, Canterbury Media can print poster boards and mounted prints in sizes up to 48 x 96 inches. For beautiful long lasting color crispness and fidelity, we print your digital files on high quality papers or vinyls and then mount the prints on your choice of rigid backing.

 

Canterbury Media offers you three main mounting options for your poster boards and mounted prints. These are Foam-core, GatorFoam, and Sintra. If a particular job requires a substrate that we don't stock, we will be happy to provide it if it is available to us.

 

• Foam-core is lightweight, rigid and consists of three layers. The outer two layers are made of white clay-coated paper, and the middle layer is a polystyrene foam. Foam-core is ideal for short term presentations. However, you have to make sure not to allow the corners to get damaged.

 

• Gatorfoam® provides an excellent solution for larger prints and is much more durable than foam-core. It is made by sandwiching polystyrene foam between two sheets of Luxcell wood-fiber veneer. It is rigid, lightweight, and warp resistant.

 

• Sintra® is constructed from lightweight and inflexible closed-cell polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheet. It is perfect for outdoor use, and will last much longer than foam-core or Gatorfoam®.
